Are you setting up a newborn screening programme or are you new or relatively new to newborn screening? In response to delegates’ feedback at previous ISNS meetings we are delighted to offer a new, short educational course tailored to these needs. It will be for a smaller, more intimate group of individuals wishing to learn more of the topics in the Academy Programme. It will take place at the ECCL on Sunday March 23 from 10.00h to 16.00h prior to the Luxembourg conference in a briefing room separate from the main congress hall. The course will cover essential knowledge on the quality of dried blood spots required, demographics for result interpretation, identifying important members to include in a newborn screening team, how to ensure quality of analyses and much more. Upon request there may be opportunities for individual mentoring and discussion. We have a team of very experienced speakers to guide you through ways to create a quality newborn screening system.
Come and learn directly from leading experts how to apply best practices.
A certificate of attendance at the Academy will enable delegates to seek Continuing Medical Education, CME, and Continuing Professional Development, CPD, points or their equivalents from appropriate organisations.
To ensure more personalised teaching there are a limited number of places at the Academy which will be based on application forms. Successful applicants will be informed as soon as possible enabling registration to secure a place. The Academy is priced at €60 + VAT to include lunch and a coffee break.
