Nataliia Olkhovych, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Head of the Medical Genetics Laboratory at the National Children's Specialized Hospital "OHMATDYT" MoH of Ukraine.

A specialist in medical and laboratory genetics with over 30 years of experience, she is also a lecturer at the Department of Medical and Laboratory Genetics at P.L. Shupyk National University of Health Care and an expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in laboratory genetics.

She is an active member of the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG), the Society for the Study of Inherited Metabolic Diseases (SSIEM), and other international and Ukrainian professional associations. As a recognized expert in her field, she has authored approximately 100 scientific publications.

In 2021, she led a group of experts in developing and implementing a new expanded neonatal screening system for 21 diseases in Ukraine, aligning with the highest European standards. The program was successfully launched in October 2022 despite the full-scale Russian invasion.
