My name is Dorica Dan, I am president of Romanian National Alliance for Rare Diseases and vice-president of EURORDIS – Rare Diseases Europe.

I was part of the EUCERD and CERD, Work Package Leader for Specialized Social Services for Rare Diseases on the EUCERD Joint Action for Rare Diseases and secretary of the National Council for Rare Diseases. Since 2018 I am an Ashoka Fellow, an ePAG chair in ERN ITHACA and co-chair of the WHO TAG Disability & Health.

I initiated the National Plan for Rare Diseases in Romania and established NoRo Center for Rare Diseases: www.centrulnoro.ro.
