Dr Andrea Bordugo, MD, Pediatrician, graduated at Padova University, Italy.

Actually he is Director of Metabolic and Syndromic Diseases Unit at the Regional Center for Rare Diseases ASUFC Udine, Italy.

Previously Head of Hereditary Metabolic Diseases Unit and Clinical Manager of the Regional Center for Newborn Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment,Verona University, Italy

He has an active interest in diseases of amino acids and organic acids, glucose and fatty acids metabolism and more recently lysosomal storage disorders working with Professor Maurizio Scarpa.

He published research articles in international medical journals and participated as speaker in meetings involving metabolic and genetic diseases.

Has is member of SIMMESN Italian Society for Inherited Metabolic Disorders and SSIEM.

In SIMMESN he was member of the Council for two mandates and coordinator of the Dietitian Group years 2014-1024.
