Flynn Nick
Nick Flynn is Interim Laboratory Director of the Biochemical Genetics Unit at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. Nick studied at the University of Cambridge, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and University College London. He has previously worked at University College London Hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital before moving to Cambridge in 2015.
His interests are newborn screening, inherited metabolic diseases, and laboratory IT and automation. Nick was awarded the Medal Award from the Association for Laboratory Medicine at UKMedLab23 for his presentation on using computer vision to assess blood spot quality.
